Message	if the lifter problem wont be fixed by replacing them, then whats the correct way to fix the tapping sound other then using a heavier oil? and could this cause my knock sensor to show a code? or is that probably just a bad sensor or connection? will bypassing the knock sensor tell me if the sensor is bad? or will it just let my engine run if there really is detonation? id like to replace the sensor but id rather wait till i am doing more work to the engine again.
